Lake Committee:
Limnology Committee
Background:
Efforts to oversee lake water quality measures have historically been undertaken mostly through the efforts of individuals, across all the lakes. They have not been consistently measured across all lakes.
Goals:
To monitor key quality indicators in each lake (pond), including but not limited to clarity, water temperature, phosphorus concentration, heavy metal concentration, bacteria count.
To do so in a consistent fashion for measuring, recording, and reporting.
